The seminar will feature an opening lecture by Professor Oluf Borbye Peders as well as presentations from early-career researchers highlighting new perspectives on host–microbe interactions.

“Mechanisms by which the gut microbiome contributes to cardiometabolic health and disorders”
Drawing on recent findings, including a publication in Nature Microbiology, Professor Pedersen will present novel insights into polypeptides produced by gut microbes and their role in host physiology.
